	Developing social and cultural activities.

	Providing information to schools and other establishments about cultural issues.

We have worked closely with Age Concern in providing support for the Asian Communities in Welwyn Hatfield to establish the Asian Luncheon Club. This is now running under its own auspices.

Our annual cultural celebration festival (Kaleidoscope 2009) is planned for 18th July. The theme for the festival is, once again, food from around the world. To get involved, either email whemg@yahoo.co.uk, or phone 01707 262548.

We are running a pilot community mentoring project targeting mainly black and minority ethnic young people in local schools.
