Activities


	Developing social and cultural activities.
	Accessing training opportunities.
	Establishing new groups.
	Finding meeting places for groups.
	Providing information to schools and other establishments about cultural issues.
	Raising awareness through multicultural events.
	Improving access to services.

We have worked closely with Age Concern in providing support for the Asian Communities in Welwyn Hatfield to establish the Asian Luncheon Club. This is now running under its own auspices.

Community Mentoring Project
We were successful in gaining funding from Hertfordshire County Council to run a second phase of our community mentoring project targeting mainly black and minority ethnic young people in local schools. African Drumming and Dance Club
